Join us at 6 pm for the inspirational film "Soul Surfer" that dramatizes the real life story of Bethany Hamilton, a Hawaiian teen who bravely returns to competitive surfing after losing her left arm in a vicious shark attack. Sue & Mike Filisky of Grace Harmony Christian Music Ministry from Avon, Florida will be sharing their testimony in song during a special concert here at BACC tonight, Sunday August 7th, beginning at 6:30 pm. The Filiskys will also be encouraging us with some of their music during the morning worship service that day as well.

• The worship service will be held at 10:30 am this morning. The morning message will be presented by special guest Gary Hawes from Michigan Christian Campus Ministries.

Several teens from our congregation joined with hundreds of others at Great Lake Christian College's annual Fusion Event last weekend from Friday night until Sunday noon. Awesome music & worship was led by the Aaron Pelsue Band from Indianapolis, Indiana while the inspiring preaching & teaching was delivered by Chad Cronin from the South Lansing Christian Church. Teens were also sent out into the Lansing area Saturday afternoon to share Christ's love by helping the needy & hungry for H.O.M.E. Ministries.

• The Men's Breakfast will resume again this Saturday at 8 am at the Hungry Tummy Restaurant in Beulah. Breakfast, Bible study & bantering brought to you for any interested men.

The Youth Group enjoyed a beautiful afternoon kayaking on the Crystal River yesterday followed by 18 holes of mini-golf at "The River" in Glen Arbor. Bethany putts in the photo as the rest of the girls team look on. Anna (in red shirt) was the only person in our group to make a hole-in-one and won herself a free round of putt-putt.

The FCA Sailing and Adventure Camp is an unbelievable blend of sailing, outdoor adventure, and spiritual growth. Base Camp is at the Benzie Area Church of Christ. Sailing will be at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club with six hours a day with professional sailing instruction by the Crystal Lake Sailing School. Come to camp prepared to stay in quality wilderness style tents. If the weather gets rough we can move inside. Morning and evening activities will include worship, teaching, fun games, and off site adventure. We conclude each day around the camp fire enjoying music and fellowship. Check in is Sunday, August 22nd, 4:00pm at Benzie Area Church of Christ located at 2474 Frankfort Highway (M-115), Frankfort, MI, 49635.
